This tent is huge comparing it to Coleman Hooligan 2 at least.  Although this tent is “designed” for 4 people, it really is for 3 people.  For a family of 4, it would be wise to consider a 6 person tent instead.  That way you won’t feel crammed in on a rainy day.

Setting it up at first seemed a bit difficult, but that also could have been because of rain and after 10 pm.  Once you do it a few time, it gets much easier.  As long as you don’t happen to snap elastic rope on one of the poles like I did.  Sunset Dunes has an amazing design when it come to window size and spacing.  

Opening all of the windows allows you enjoy the fresh air and the views without taking off the tarp.  This design concept also allows proper air circulation during heavy sleep/power naps and decreases chances of condensation build up inside the tent.

My theory on tents was when I buy one, set it up and if it rains, I should stay perfectly dry inside.  After perhaps couple of uses, numerous times of packing and unpacking the tent, I’d expect some water leakage but not during the first use.  

That’s exactly what happened during my first use of this product. It leaked.. a lot.  Be aware. Make sure you seal the seems during your first use.  Focus on the areas with zippers (doors and windows), that’s where it has greater chances of letting water through.

Overall I wouldn’t buy another one but I may have gotten a faulty unit. You can judge by yourself.
