Beer Can Stove

I am really digging this little stove idea.  Definitely something I’d love to put together for next camping season… perhaps even feature it in one of the review/travel videos to show how it has held up. Let us know if this is something you have tried/used and what is your opinion of it.

Allaire State Park Campgrounds

When staying overnight at this campground in April of 2013, I was a bit hesitant to do a review because of two things: 1) A lot of activities that the park offers were still unavailable due to off season time or were only offered on weekends. 2) Sandy damaged a lot of trees on the campgrounds and […]

Eureka! Solitaire Tent

If you are looking for a great hiking tent on a budget, definitely consider the Eureka Solitude.  It’s lightweight (in comparison to other tents for the price), easy to pitch, and is very comfortable to rest in.  For the past 6 months I’ve been going back and forth of whether I should get this tent or not.  After countless reviews and overanalyzation […]

Coleman Montana 8 Slider

It’s HUGE! Sorry for the caps but it really is!  This is my very first tent of this size and there is as much of excitement in me as there is space on the inside of the tent.  Coleman designed this tent for 8 people and it’s doable but it’ll be extremely crowded.  I’ve barely […]

Coleman Sunset Dunes 4

This tent is huge! … comparing it to Coleman Hooligan 2 at least.  Although this tent is “designed”  for 4 people, it really is for 3 people.  For a family of 4, it would be wise to consider a 6 person tent instead.  That way you won’t feel crammed in on a rainy day. Setting it […]

Karen in River 018

What a bag! I am in love with the way it is designed.  It is by far the best looking bag on the market.  At first, it may seem unpractical but in farther investigation, the amount of “hidden” pockets it has will blow your mind.  On the outside the bag has 2 zipper compartments (on […]
